24 professional dancers have been selected to participate more fully in Boris Charmatz’ residency Dancing Dialogues. These dancers will have two four-hour rehearsals with the celebrated choreographer and then participate in a public informal showing on the east terrace of the Philadelphia Museum of Art on September 10, 2016.
During these intensive workshops, dancers will learn all 25 gestures of Charmatz’ Levée des conflits and also experience how the phrase created by these gestures is performed in a canon.

(In case of rain, this workshop will start at 10:30am in the Great Stair Hall at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Free after regular Museum admission. Rain decision will be posted on our Facebook page the morning of the workshop.)
